Electronic Cigarette by White Cloud E-Cigarettes

I think at this point I’ve probably tried just about every brand of electronic cigarettes on the market… or so I thought.  Recently I came across a brand called White Cloud E-Cigarettes, so I had to give it a try and see how it measured up to my other favorite brands.  I am glad I did because I was blown away by this product.

I picked up a kit of White Cloud’s “Cirrus II” e-cigarette.  In this kit I received two e-cigarettes, five cartridges (in varying strengths and flavors), one USB charger and a user manual.  The box that it comes in claims their product is “smaller, lighter and more vapor per puff.”  I loaded up a cartridge on the e-cigarette and took a big pull like I normally do.

I didn’t expect what came next.

I literally choked on it.  These White Cloud cigarettes have such a strong, easy pull.  My other e-cigarettes that I use, you really have to inhale strongly to get a good pull out of.  Not with White Cloud.  Just the slightest amount of inhalation and these e-cigarettes are filling up your lungs with vapor.  They don’t lie when they claim they have more vapor per puff.

Having learned my lesson, I took another pull, but more cautiously this time.  I tried out a vanilla flavored cartridge, with extra strength nicotine, and it tastes great.  White Cloud also offers a number of other different flavors, such as menthol, chocolate, espresso, peach, whiskey, apple, banana and clove.  So far I’ve tried the vanilla and the menthol and have enjoyed both.

The other thing I noticed about the Cirrus II from White Cloud is how light it is.  The packaging claims that it is shorter and lighter than other e-cigarettes (30% shorter and lighter, to be exact).  It surprises me that a product that is much smaller than its competitors delivers such a strong punch.  It also says that it charges faster than other brands, though I’ve yet to test that yet as my battery has not yet run out.  I’ll let you know my charging experience once that time comes.

I highly recommend the White Cloud e-cigarette, as it’s definitely been the strongest brand that I have tried.  If you were a heavy smoker of traditional cigarettes who made the change to e-cigarettes, but have been unhappy with the strength of e-cigarettes, you clearly haven’t tried White Cloud.  It only takes a very gentle draw to get the atomizer in motion, and once it’s activated you get twice the amount of vapor than you do with any other e-cigarette brand on the market.  I’m glad that I gave this brand a try and will absolutely continue to use White Cloud e-cigarettes.

Why Does Apple Have To Be Such Control Freaks?

I really don’t get what the deal is with Apple and their compulsion to tell people how they should use their products.  Ya know, if I buy a piece of technology regardless of whether it’s a car, a blender, a iPhone, or a titanium salad fork, I’m going to damn well do what I want with it.  It’s mine after all, I did buy it with my hard earned money.  It’s like they want to protect us from ourselves by telling us how we should use their stuff.  The problem is, that it’s not their stuff anymore.  The second I walk out of WalMart, or click on “Buy” on Amazon, then that product is mine.  It all started off with the mentality that launched one of the first big Apples success, the original Apple Mac back in the early eighties.

It was a great computer, but they choose to keep the architecture locked up tighter than Fort Knox.  As a result, the IBM PC with it’s open architecture ended up darn near putting them out of business.  Fortunately, today their is are better solutions.  You can jailbreak your iPods, and unlock iPhone 4 phones quite easily.  Thank goodness for the internet, and a group of people that believe in end users and their intelligence.  There are plenty of sites, that provide software hacks, patches, instructions, and FAQs all about unlocking Apple’s great lineup of products.

An analogy I like to use is this.  Would you buy a car from any auto manufacturer, if they put a security on the hood and told you that you couldn’t even look inside, let alone change anything, or your 5 year 100,000 km warranty would be void?  I sure wouldn’t.  So why does a big name electronic company like Apple think it’s alright?  It’s beyond me, how they get away with it.  So if you want to unlock iPhone 3Gs phones, or other similar technology, have a look around the net.  Their are plenty of good solutions out there.

Which Nikon Cameras Would I Choose?

When you think of Nikon cameras, you probably think of quality SLR cameras.  I do, that’s what comes to mind for me.  And, I don’t think that’s because of any branding and advertising campaign on the part of Nikon.  I think it’s just because they have a well known reputation and tradition for building some great SLR cameras.  That’s not to say they don’t make some great little pocket cameras.  Their Coolpix lineup is certainly worthy of mention.  I think though, that they’ve made their mark with some of the best selling and critically acclaimed SLRs on the market today.  This isn’t exactly meant to be a top 10 Nikon cameras expose, but there are a few models I’d like to mention.

If you’ve ever had the chance to use a Nikon D3100, then you’ll understand why it continues to be one of the top selling Nikon cameras today.  Amazon lists it amongst their most favorite Nikons, and they probably sell more cameras online than just about anyone.  If however, your camera tastes and needs would be better satisfied with a more compact camera, then the Nikon Coolpix L22 would be a great choice.  12 megapixels and a decent 3.6 zoom lens should get you some great impromptu and candid shots.  If however, you’ve got money to burn, and don’t spend dropping  five thousand plus change an a digital camera then take a look at the Nikon DS3.  Sure it’s a lot of cash, but for what you get it’s unparalleled.

Title: Converter Boxes for DTV and Antenna Reception Help

Although the digital transition occurred over 2 years ago, people still seem to be searching for converter boxes to convert their digital television sets for DTV. I’m guessing it’s due in part to the poor economy and consumers wanting to save money by cancelling their costly cable or satellite TV service. If you’re shopping for a converter box still, tvconverterboxstore.com has a wide selection of new and used DTV converter boxes.

If you watch TV over-the-air, and already have a converter box, you may want to check out dtvusaforum.com. They offer help for antenna reception and chat about the latest happenings with HDTV. I had a problem last year getting NBC because my local affiliate converted from UHF to VHF frequencies. A simple fix for me was to purchase a cheap VHF antenna, recommended by the guys at dtvusaforum.com.

Over-the-air (also known as OTA) television is gaining ground on cable and satellite companies for viewers. I’m not saying that one is better than the other, but I do think that if you’re trying to save a few dollars every month, OTA can definitely be a good alternative. Since converting my television last year to digital, I’ve save almost $1000.00 in cable fees. That’s not bad at all!

The Roots Of This SEO Company

Ever since my first introduction to the internet back in the nineties, I’ve been enthralled by it and determined to make a living off it somehow. That wasn’t so easy in the early days, as my background was that of a system analyst for large companies and institutions doing mainly mainframe work. It was good experience in that it was technical, but at the time there was quite a difference between an IBM mainframe and the world of HTML and web servers. But, I was determined. I took a few courses in HTML and other web based technology at the time, and started teaching myself more and more about how the internet worked. At the time, I had no idea what an SEO company did. Probably it is because they weren’t that many of them around.

My first website was a gaming website, that was hosted for free by a company (actually one guy), that wanted to to more to encourage gaming online. Not that it really need a big push. After he got tired of that, I ended up learning Linux, and setting up my own web server on an old machine at home. My running a web server and an email server from home I learned quite a bit about the technology that supported the web. What I didn’t quite know yet was the importance search engines and the impact they were having on websites. Needless to say, that was probably a steeper learning curve than any of the technical work I had done so far. Employing good SEO to get websites and pages ranking in the search engines is an ever evolving art. It is one that I look forward to perfecting for years to come.

Monthly PC Service Top 10 Checklist

Just as your car needs a service every couple of thousand miles, a good PC service is essential to prolonging the working life of your computer. This article covers a suitable list of tasks to consider in your checklist.

Doing a regular selection of PC maintenance and repair tasks can greatly improve the performance and reliability of your computer with little effort on your part. Here is a recommend list of activities to include in your own PC service.

  • First of all, backup all your personal to an external disk or CDs/DVDs.
  • Run Windows update to get the latest drivers and patches for your system.
  • Get individual updates for programs you use most often. Often this can be done using the Tools > Check for Updates menu item, if present.
  • Update your anti-virus software and scan all drives and external memory for the presence of bugs. Additional scans for malware, adware and spyware should also be considered.
  • Clean out some disk space (at least 10%) to let virtual memory expand unimpeded.
  • Double check your virtual memory settings (System > Advanced > Performance Options > Page File) are greater than or equal to what Windows recommends.
  • While in the Performance options Window, check visual settings and RAM prioritization suit the way you are using the computer.
  • Close down or remove applications you no longer need.
  • Use startup list administration tab in the System Configuration tool (Start > Run > enter msconfig) to disable any tools you do not want to run at startup to speed up boot times.
  • Do a full reboot to clear the RAM cache of any unreleased memory.

A PC service shouldn’t take more than 1 hour to complete and may be run in the background for the most part, so make a point of scheduling this time at least every four weeks.

They’ve Got You Covered

I’m a big fan of gadgets, and even a bigger fan of taking care of those gadgets.  I suppose, you can say I’m a little obsessed with taking care of my stuff.  Just ask my dog.  That may sound funny, but it’s not.  When I bought my very first smart phone n0t so long ago, I had a little accident with it related to the family dog.  I was taking her out for a walk, and I had my new little toy in my hand.  I was just in the process, of moving it from one hand to another, when the dog saw a squirrel, and took off like a rocket, jerking my hand holding the leash.  The result was not pretty.  If I had bought some iPhone 4 covers I wouldn’t have had a problem.

My brand new smart phone went flying across the payment, and the keyboard slid open.  If  I had actually acted on my gut instinct at the moment, the poor dog would have never made it to the next day.  Fortunately, I took a deep breath picked up the phone and examined it.  It still worked thank goodness, but not with out a few scars.  Scratches and dents to be exact.  Scars that could have been avoided with protective case.  Something like these iPhone 4 cases.  When you think of the kind of investment you put out for one of these phones, it makes good sense to spend a little more for some solid protection.

Flip Ultra HD Video Recorder Review

Wow, the Flip Ultra could very well be the best money I have every spent on digital camera equipment to date. It might even be the best digital camera I have ever bought in my photographic lifetime. It doesn’t hurt that with a bit of comparison shopping I managed to get a great deal on the Flip Ultra HD where I save almost $50 off the regular retail price either.

The very best feature of the Flip is the full HD video recording at full high definition resolution, as it looks just gorgeous on the full screen of either my HDTV or my compute r. The 2 inch LCD display is a little small to full appreciate the full HD experience in all it’s high definition glory

Second would have to be the neat little flip out USB 2.0 arm that doesn’t get lost like my cables do and means I have all I need with just the Flip Ultra HD. All I had to do to connect to my computer and share and view my videos was to plug in the flip to my USB port on my computer and my computer automatically recognized the Flip where I just dragged and dropped the video files onto my desktop.

Lastly, the big red record button on the back of the Flip Utlra HD has to be easiest of any video cameras I have ever used. When I wanted to record video I pressed the red recording button. When I wanted to stop recording video I pressed the red record button a second time.

That truly is all you need to know about the Flip Ultra HD. There’s other neat stuff like being able to connect it to your TV and easy to use software for sharing video on facebook and video but all I had to do was flip the arm and press the red button and using the Flip Ultra was so easy I didn’t need to read the manual before using the Flip Ultra HD.
