Having this extra means of security would now enable bosses to find out who’s been goofing off at the workplace while he or she is away. So while the webcam may not be able to follow said slacker to the smoking area or to the pantry for a cup of coffee, it may just catch some valuable snippets of conversation about where said employee is headed to. Indeed, the webcam serves more purposes than simply being a tool for friends, couples and family to communicate with one another, or a tool for enhanced online dating.
